Year 5 pupils took part in a West African dance and drumming workshop on Wednesday led by Border Moves. During the sessions the team focuses on developing performance skills, creating a link between contemporary and traditional music and dance forms and encouraging children to explore their own ideas. At the end of the day the children performed their newly acquired skills in a special assembly. Each year the children look forward to taking part in the exciting and creative sessions. We look forward to inviting Clive and Helen back into school very soon for another memorable experience.
