This week the whole school has taken part in special Vision and Mission activities. We spent some time exploring our school driver words and representing them in hands and feet. As you can see, the results were super!

This week we had a special assembly from the NSPCC.

They explained to the children how important it is to talk to a trusted adult about our worries.

They also told the children about the work of Childline.

 W/c 5 November

Welcome back everyone and we hope you had a good break.

This week we have been enjoying a fabulous book called 'The Angel of Nitshill Road '.

In geography we have been having lots of fun with compasses and using compass points to locate places on a map. In maths we have looked at mass using grams and kilograms so, perhaps children could weigh some items at home.

This week we had a visit from Mr Loader who taught us all about rocks and even showed us some ancient dinosaur poo!

Well done everyone for a wonderful first half term. Homework is to learn spellings, tables and do lots of reading.

Most importantly, have a good rest!

Enjoy the break!

This week we have been busy learning how to write instructions. We read a fabulous book called "How to wash a woolly mammoth" and learned all about the features of an instruction text. We also completed art work using chalks depicting Stonehenge at sunrise.

All of year 3 & 4 took part in a prayer friends mass, we enjoyed walking to Christ Church and really getting to know our new prayer friends. Our favourite lessons this week were in Science and Numeracy. We tested different rocks to see if they were erosive and in numeracy, we used number lines to help us to subtract.
