This week we had a visit from Mr Loader who taught us all about rocks and even showed us some ancient dinosaur poo!

Well done everyone for a wonderful first half term. Homework is to learn spellings, tables and do lots of reading.

Most importantly, have a good rest!

Enjoy the break!

This week we have been busy learning how to write instructions. We read a fabulous book called "How to wash a woolly mammoth" and learned all about the features of an instruction text. We also completed art work using chalks depicting Stonehenge at sunrise.

All of year 3 & 4 took part in a prayer friends mass, we enjoyed walking to Christ Church and really getting to know our new prayer friends. Our favourite lessons this week were in Science and Numeracy. We tested different rocks to see if they were erosive and in numeracy, we used number lines to help us to subtract.
