Our Class Bloggers' Weekly Update! 16.11.18
This week in class 6D we have had visitors about the NSPCC . They talked to us all about child abuse and how to speak out and stay safe. In topic we have started to look at crime and punishment; this has been the children’s favourite subject so far. This week we have finished our novel on the Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom and started the book Wonder.

Things have been a little scary in our class this week and not just because it was Halloween! We have begun a unit of work on 'Alma', a spooky short film all about a girl who has an encounter in a strange shop. If you would like to watch the video, here it is:
Our Class Bloggers' Weekly Update! 12.10.18
This week has been a fun week. We spent the time up to Wednesday rehearsing for our assembly. The main message of our assembly was we are all special.
Two people from the fire service came to talk to us about bonfire night safety and anti-social behaviour. They told us that there was only one fire engine per station. They encouraged us to attend an organised bonfire if possible!

This week we have been enjoying finishing of our country posters. The countries are: The United Kingdom, Japan, China, Brazil, Greece and Australia. They are all beautifully coloured and have lots of facts.
21.09.18 - What a terrific start!
Class 6D have settled in beautifully to life in Year 6 and have been working very hard to meet the challenges of this year. So far, we have had lots of fun creating our personality swirls - which can be seen outside our classroom - and enjoyed writing our Great Mouse Plot Diary entries, all about getting revenge on Mrs Pratchett. We took inspiration from Tom Gates and from Diary of a Wimpy Kid and included our own doodles.
