School Meals
School meals
Our kitchen provides a range of tasty, nutritious meals daily. A number of hot meal options are offered for the children to choose from each day and in support of our ‘Healthy Schools' Award status, children are encouraged to select freely from the salad bar each day in addition to their meal. A choice of drink and deserts are also provided with every school meal.
Alternatively, children may choose to bring in a packed lunch.
Payments for school meals should be paid via SchoolGrid payment and booking system. Parents can view nutritional information, including details about allergens, and make choices for their child's school meals.
Free school meals – How to apply
If you are making a claim for Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support then you don’t need to make a separate claim for Free School Meals. You can request Free School Meals on the same form and we will assess your entitlement at the same time. You can apply for Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support from the Benefits homepage on the Council Website. If you do not need to claim Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support and only want to claim Free School Meals then you should fill in an online claim form. You should also make a claim online if you are already receiving Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support and one of your children starts full-time nursery or school maintained by the Local Authority.
